It’s not been the best of birthdays so far. I was walking to a lecture past a building site, and a bit of grit went in my eye. So I tried to wash it out, but that didn’t work and a First-Aider I asked sent me to the Uni Health Centre. They couldn’t get it out either, as they had nothing small enough to poke under my eye lid. The doctor then put some colouring in my eye to check if the bit of grit had scratched my cornea. Happily, it hasn’t and they think that the enzymes in my tears will break it down that way.
However, the day is yet young and I’ve not opened my presents yet, so hopefully I’ll have a better time later on.
(Another) Happy Birthday Wish for you Tag (seeing as how I gave the first last night, at I think…what was it 20 minutes after you turned 20?)! But either way, I hope the rest is more enjoyable than the first of it’s been.
