Give us a short description of your nation: The People’s Republic of Khanikstan is a freshly raised government controlled by former warlord/revolutionary Hamad Kahn (son of Kerim Kahn) that is five years removed from taking power. Hamad Kahn’s father, Kerim Kahn rose to power as a political figure after gaining sweeping popularity for his anti-capitalist and anti-religion ideals, giving a voice to the middle and lower class in a theocratic state ruled by religious elite. At the age of 64, thirty three years after the beginning of the revolution, Kerim Kahn was killed by a targeted airstrike by the Azbekistan Military. This only inspired the rebels, as Hamad Kahn effortlessly took his place at the reins of the chariot of his father’s war machine. Within 2 years of his fathers death, Hamad reached his 5 year goal of taking the strategic city of Varrock, which later became the Capitol of Kahnikstan.
After a brutal forty year war with the former government of Azbekistan, Hamad Kahn and his army of revolutionaries accepted the unconditional surrender of Azbekistan. His first decree as Supreme Leader was to rename the country after his father, Khanikstan. After 45 years of near complete isolation, Hamad Kahn and the Kahnikstan people are facing a food crises and Azbekistan rebels are gaining power in the foothills. Kahnikstan is trying to pivot from a highly militarized state greatly stunted by decades of war and unrest to a respected nation amongst the wurld stage.
Hamad’s leadership has been criticized as of late as his promise of communism has been interrupted by his failure to rebuild the crumbled infrastructure. With food, fuel, and healthcare being gridlocked, life in the rural parts of Kahnikstan are brutal and Azbekistan loyalist’s voices are falling in curious ears. The People’s Republic of Kahnikstan is desperate for foreign allies and a national spark to get the national morale up.

How would you describe your level of experience in regards to roleplaying?: I’ve been roleplaying through text for over a decade, and have been a DM for DnD and other tabletop games since I could read. I’ve never RP'd as a Nation though but as someone very interested in international politics im very excited at the opportunity ”)

Azbekistan Recruitment Den leads to arrest of 17 in KSIB sting
The Khanikstan Special Investigation Bureau acted out the end of a seven month sting into an Azbekistan Loyalist camp located a short 13 miles outside the border city of Okara. This marks the second Loyalist camp being surrendered in just the last two weeks. The fact that the camp was located so close to a major population hub was quoted as “unimportant” after Lead Investigator Jaasir Bukhari took the podium Tuesday afternoon.
“Okara is deeply loyal to His Respected Supreme Leader Hamad Kahn and the Communist Party and the most recent census backs up that data convincingly,” he said with a noticeable bead of sweat dripping down his brow. “The low numbers at this recruitment meeting is being seen as a positive, no matter the distance to a larger city”
When asked if there were firearms found at the camp, Lead Investigator Jassir Bukhari was definite in his answer that none were found on the premises.
“While the KSIB is ready to admit that the Azbekistan Loyalist numbers were larger than originally expected, we are still deeply confident that the Azbekistan Loyalist rebels are unarmed and harmless. They’re closer to evangelical cult leaders than a rebel milita at the way they are standing now.” Bukhari doubled down on that statement a few minutes later in the conference by confirming that no current investigation into the Azbekistan Loyalists as led them to the conclusion that they have access to firearms. "The same precautions His Respected Supreme Leader Hamad Kahn put in place to keep guns off the streets and out of the hands of the general population are working against the Azbekistan Loyalsts just as well.
The seventeen men present ranged between the ages of twelve and thirty five according to arrest records given to The Khanikstan Observer. It is unclear how many were already members prior to the camps siege.
Thirty six KSIB Agents stormed the camp with the assistance of a nearby stationed divison of the Khanikstan Armed Forces for transport purposes. The raid was reported to have taken less than seven minutes to complete.
No shots we’re fired during the raid. All seventeen men are facing 25 years in prison or 10 years of military service as per the Khanikstan Constitution’s clear treason laws. The Khanikstan Observer was not allowed to speak with any of the arrested criminals

Why do you want to join this region?: I stumbled on you guys by accident and after some research you guys feel like the the best place for me. The dedication and infrastructure setup by the community here really impressed me!

If so, give a brief accounting of it: _I played the game off and on way back in like 2014 but never got into the RP part of it, just the basic mechanics of the site. Now im way more into geopolitics and the like and was super excited to see the nationstate community still thriving lol
