People’s Council Renamed Senate. Represenative Government Resumes - Apology to Europa

Stockholm - Speech from the Federal Capitol:
" Citizens of Strathyclyde. Our great experiment has failed. It has not failed, by some internal flaw, or by an outside pressure, nor by strif among our people. It was destined to fail, because as a people, no two minds are alike, and mob rule cannot be had in a society with a military or Nuclear Weapons. The people must not only be accountable to themselves, but to the rest of the world, to maintain peace. As such, I am abolishing, via a backing of a slight majority of the people, as well as the other members of the council, The Anarchistic Democracy. The people shall be governed by 500 Represenatives, elected in a staggered 4 Year Term. This body will be known as the senate. All bills will be proposed, and voted on via this august body. To insure that a Fascist party will not rise again, there will be a ban check on material each candidate puts forth, to insure that it does not cross those lines, as before."

" This government, also apologises to Akiiryu, Rekamgil, and GHET, for its recent hostile actions. We apologise for our arrogance, and that attempting to force our beliefs onto you, was wrong. It shan’t happen again, and that you have my word on that. From this point forward, this nation shall work to continue the maintenance of Prosperity, peace ,and security throughout Europa. "
